Replacement clutch basket rd400d

Advice please lads so I have a damaged / worn clutch basket on my 400d ive picked up a nice spare basket so stripped it down drilled out 4 x rivets back plate off dampers out so how do I now remove large / small gear without damage ? Cheers steve
