Float bowls and carb slides mixed up and blocked hole in the bottom of left float bowl (for cold starting) appear to be common problems encountered on the R5 and DS7.

Welcome to the Forum and the Club.
I'm sure you enjoy working on and then riding your R5

Hi Steve, welcome to the site. You will find that the members on here are superb, it doesn't matter what problems you may come across, at least one of the members will have come across the same and will be pleased to help as well, if i can. I have just finished an R5 350 which i am in the process of selling to get my next project in as this is my hobby in retirement, i have done quite a few rd's and enjoyed restoring every one, i just wish i was 20yrs younger and in better health so i could enjoy riding them too. Good luck with your build.
