Rd Rally 2020
« on: August 24, 2020, 10:52:49 PM »
Just a note to all who attended  the 2020 Rally , Thanks as me and my friends had a brilliant weekend with good weather  (considering the weather in other parts of the country ), Great chippy run Thanks Smoking simmo ,Thanks also to Ann and Robin for organising and even getting the Rally off ground this year . Thought  the turn out of 40 + bikes in the show was impressive to say the least , i was very relived the Rugby club and all amenities where open and socal distances systems worked fine as Bar was busy and food great (thought all the staff worked very hard ,as well as cleaning/disinfecting everything all the time ) . I now feel a little more reassured that things can get back to  normal and will be  looking forward  to next years Rally!
Thanks Peter  :)

Social distancing saw a group of us walking to another chippy  as the usual chip shop was busy.

Thanks Dave
Took me right back.
Feeling a bit dark at the moment as i have been furloughed again as you can amagine not a lot of airlines are buying flight deck seats at the moment and Essex is being caned by covid at this time.
I try to look forward to when we can be daft on our bikes again.
Stay safe. ;)

It's not good at the moment. I'm still working two days a week, furloughed for three, but the order books are looking empty at the moment. This time it is cold and dark and certainly not as much as it was in the spring
I hope you can get back to work soon
