A lad I was at school with’s Dad had newgate he shut but opened again for a short time in Deeside in the main coast road by the traffic lights. I used to get bike pin badges when I was at school from there, but always called into Newgate for the bike brochures for my wall ( the same RD ones you pay for now on the net😂). A very long time ago someone I no had a small garage doing cars and asked if I wanted to go into business with him but doing bikes and he knew where there was lock ups full of the old stock from a bike shop that closed here in Chester but wouldn’t confirm that it was Newgate’s, didn’t do it in the end so didn’t here anymore.
