Hello From New England
« on: August 01, 2021, 01:28:41 AM »
 I had a 1971 R5 back in the ‘70’s.
We were reunited several months ago.
Pictures are attached of what it looked like as found & of some of its parts that just came back from chrome shop.

Hi Dave, welcome to the site. How long did it take to dry your tears, first the tears of joy for being re united and then the tears of sadness for the way that your once pride and joy had been miss treated. You can and will put that back to the bike you've always wanted, keep us updated.

Hi Dave, nice to hear you found your old bike again.
I had an R5 back in the early 80's & recently managed to get another, but unfortunately not my old one.
