TD3 Frame Pics

Does anyone have any good pic of a TD3 frame. I'd lik to work out what to delug from my RD frame, and what I must leave.

Hi Dave, there are some pics on my RD350 Track bike thread in the restoration section. The article from Uwe is good but, there are considerable differences and other extra brackets beyond those discussed.  One particular point is the cross tube on the top tubes where the tank and seat fit.  The RD cross tube is further back and does not suit a TD/R/TZ alloy/copy tank. Nor does it suit the front seat mounting.  Also, the top tubes are different where the seat sits.  This is not too much of a problem as you should trial fit with ALL your new bits before you go final on new brackets.  Certainly, do not paint before you have the fit and layout sorted.  ;)

Here is my Track frame after modification.  It is a RD250C/D frame, there are differences between the model that you use as your basis for modification.  Cheers
