@tractorman
are you sure that he don't mismatch it with the Scitsu framed bikes? Here a Scitsu framed one:

Many more of them out with various engines from 50ccm to 250ccm. That's a concept I still search for also. I have the drawings and patterns of the Scitsu one lying here.
But he can be right. I am going through the records, which were with the bike, at the moment and some notices lead that there could a second one which was developed simultaneous but with a normal YZ250 engine. But that is really not sure. Could be a 2nd very different bike in the team which uses a YZ250 engine.
I am happy about every info I can get
Regards Uwe

I don't know. I just mentioned the Tomic and he knew what I meant straight away. He probably knows the Scitsu bike as well. He raced on the Scitsu in side car racing. There was talk of rebuilding it but I think it has died a death.

@tractorman
If your boss recalls the name Tomic than he knew this bike. The name Tomic is not common to anyone I knew in the UK racing scene. Even a racer I know who raced against the bike many times didn't know it was called Tomic :D

My boss says, Mick Nash used to rebuild his Bantam engines, and Martin Nash was a really quick rider, who he reckons could have gone to be a top flight rider with the right connections.
