RD200 1981 Finally finished.
« on: April 17, 2022, 01:56:49 PM »
Hello All

Just finished the renovation of my RD200 1981.  The bike was exported to Cyprus in 1982 and I came across it (heard it first) being ridden by an elderly Cypriot guy and after a bit of haggling persuaded him to sell it, got it shipped into the UK and have spend the last 6 Months renovating it.

I hope to get out and enjoy the weather over Easter.

Nice job, Chris.  ;)

Not seen crash bars like that for a while! :)

If you wanted to go period correct, then you should have no problem finding someone to swap your front indicator lenses with (yours look like the early years, deeper ones).

Thanks, I’ll look into the indicators, they were on the bike when I got it.

If they are a genuine part, then they will have "IMASEN" moulded into them.
