masking up case's

I see a lot of people have spray painted there crank cases with a aerosol I was going to do them on my yr5 any tips for masking up the plain alloy that doesn't need painting

Spend hours with masking tape or rubberpaint the surfaces you don't want to paint.

Why not do the best you can and paint everything then go over the edges with a block and some P2000 or similar. Don't mess around with vasaline or masking...
