If Yamaha published any data on this, then it should be in the service manual.

Whether or not data has been published, I think that both cylinders should be about the same as each other.

Aircooled RD Tech Help 250cc and Above / Sticking clutch?
« Last post by mdfisher@gte.net on December 03, 2021, 10:45:57 PM »
I recently bought a 1973 RD250 that has had the 350 cc engine conversion done. Everything seems great except one issue.

The previous owner put aftermarket clutch and front brake levers and mounts on the bike when he went to lower bars.

I have taken all the slack out of the clutch lever adjuster at the bars, but the engagement point of the clutch is at the very beginning of the lever being pulled, and when the engine/transmission is cold, even with the clutch lever being pulled back to the grip, if I put the bike into first gear with the engine running, the bike tries to take off and the engine dies. Any subsequent attempts are okay.

Does this sound like a clutch adjustment issue that could be solved by removing the small clutch plate that is held on with two Allen screws and changing the tension on the cable?

Hi 5port, my paint guy had it made up by a specialist, it is under artificial light so doesn’t show it at it best. When I have put the graphics on I will do some natural light pics to hopefully show the brilliant colour.

So the GPO fail to follow their own procedures and their own processes fail, resulting in unfranked stamps…clearly they don’t consider them ‘spent’. I’m just giving them a second chance to do it properly ! 😂
No clear foul there I think you’ll find….

If you think otherwise….the legal position must be very grey and this might shock you….

I have Imasen yam309 lamps so These must be genuine and looking at other images the yam309 printed inside the lamps seems quite correct.   Quite interestingly they all have 3 rows of reflector around the outside of the bulb dimple.. these only have 2.
