6-8th of july

Thank You ;) ;)
-
Looking forward to my 2nd rally this year. I can make the whole weekend this time. Hoorah and Hussar! :) :)
-
Thank You ;) ;)
I'll be riding up there from Perry Bar, leaving at about 2pm Friday. Are you able to join me for the ride? Anyone else from the Birmingham area want to form up for the ride to Darley Dale?
-
I'm planning to hire/ borrow a van again so I'll be leaving 1ish if I can get Friday as a holiday booked. Got to talk to my boss.
PM me your mobile if you like, we can have a chat about it ;) ;)

going up in van, got gazebo and other shiz to take... ::)
-
Hopefully get to the rally ground for about 11.00 am to set up base camp..
-
I'm coming up from taunton in a van with my mate Jim who has an X7 special. Ill bring my 200.
He is worried no-one will talk to him, I have told him he will have to camp in his own field for non-Yams ;D
-
After missing last year I will be coming this year.
I used to enjoy the adventure of the ride up but these old bones now struggle on the hard ground in a tent so coming in a van to sleep in.
I will be bring the little 66,000 miler TW125 as well. (Must finish the 400)
I have an extra agenda. I got a couple of Round Britain Rally land marks to visit and photo and on the saturday I plan to do the chrome award of the National rally.
Just five controls to visit over 125 miles.
Been coming to rally many years. We used to go for a real long ride on the saturday but now everyone simply rides to Matlock for chips.

There have been some good ride outs in the last few years, but they’ve not been formally organised, I think due to concerns over what’s legally permitted in the Big Brother days we now live in.
The recent ride outs (some big groups, some small) have been Lastminute.com but we’ve been all over the Peak District like the old days. :)
-
Enjoyed my first last year, splendid and great fish and chips. :) :) :)
-
Hello
I'll be coming to my first National this year, all the way from Church Gresley on RD350 1973.
Look on a map to see how far that is!!!! :) :D :-[

On the Saturday there is a ride and meet up at Matlock.
For those who fancy a longer guided tour of the area should listen out for someone local who maybe going for a ride.
I am sure if you ask nicely you can tag along.
A few years back the tag along number approx 100 bikes.. :P
-
Currently 50/50 for attendance. Keelan and I have done the last 4, but with my first GrandSon arriving on May 4th (yeah! ask me his name later) :D It looks like just me this year.
No bikes on road yet. 2 sorned and Daytona needs some TLC before MOT Saturday. I have to secure next Friday off, as work just too busy, I'm sure 99% of you have the same issues :-[ Then last minute van hire if all goes well by next tuesday work deadlines.
We aim to get the pile of shi"" up and running by next years 25th. Still need a few parts yet though but not entirely sure now as I ''tidied up'' >:(
Look forward to seeing you all again and checking out those RD's 8) :o

OK! 1 down 2 to go. Sailed thru MOT this morning so just the Friday off to be confirmed and then I can book the van. 8)

Hi
I may stay over on Friday or Saturday night but never done this before. Do I need to pre-book?
I can borrow a 2 man tent and mat but what else will i need apart from tooth brush, change of clothes etc?
Cant see me bringing cooker and stuff.
Cheers
Ady

£20 camping for both nights (proof of membership needed ie:member number or card), as far as I am aware most facilities and food are there. I will be coming first time ever as well and will be camping so apart from the obvious (tent clothes mat, sleeping bag , money etc... etc.. ) I will be taking a small stove to make T as and when and will rely on what's there to eat. Bang goes my healthy diet for the weekend!!
-
Just to add... if anyone wants to print off their membership card for proof ...go to this page https://membermojo.co.uk/aircooledrdclub/signin and enter your email address and password. If you have forgotten your password or you never set one up then click the "sign in with email" part. You will then get an email with a link to log you into your member mojo page click that link and it will take you to your membership page. Down towards the bottom you will see your printable PDF membership card

Hi I am but im setting off about 10:00 ish from Solihull, I got the day off great.
We did speek on face book. See you there. ;D
-
You do not need to pre book. Quite often some members arrive before Robin and Anne who put up the club gazebo near the gate.
If you are there before them come along at some point to pay your camping. Wrist bands to prove you have paid are issued.
A card helps but as long as your name matches the current member list you will be ok

I have a few odds and ends I can sell at the rally, not enough for a stall, how do I go about selling them?
Thanks
-
Chris and his gang can be my guests, as long as I am not liable for their antics and party noise. :D

Just got back home from the Rally... Great weekend, lovely bikes and excellent bands!! how about that 19 year old guitar player,, how good was he! Met some of the guys at last whom I have been chatting with on the forum over the last few years so good to see them in person and put faces to names ( think I was the only one who didn't have a accent ha ha !!).. Great weather too and a very high turnout to boot. Couldn't stay for the AGM as I was following Captain Scarlet (John) and his Wife(Maria) home as my sense of direction is Zero so thanks to them for leading me up and back and for letting me scrounge some milk for tea!! Took some pics and video of the days and evening so once I get time to edit it into a short extract I will post a link on here to a you tube page.
Thanks to all who organised it and made it so enjoyable and to everyone who made me feel welcome (not always the case with some clubs)
cheers
Paul
