Hello and side cover
« on: August 08, 2021, 09:06:30 PM »
Hello. I am in Ontario Canada. I am mainly a Kawasaki Triple guy but have always liked the RDs. I finally found a 76 RD400 for a decent price and bought it. On the way home on the trailer I lost the right side cover. Does anyone make reproduction ones. I have seen a couple on ebay for astronomical prices. Oh yes, I'm cheap....  Any suggestions?

Thanks   Dave

Welcome Dave.

Your best bet, for both price and colour scheme availability, is USA and Canadian fleabay.

Here it is. Taken from left to hide the missing side cover. Black is specific to Canada from what I can figure. Starts first kick without choke. Needs fork seals, and front caliper rebuild. And, some big cleaning...
