RD400C MN Exhausts
« on: July 23, 2021, 06:36:02 PM »
I have purchased a set of exhausts from Martin for my 400c  but when I fitted the left hand one it was touching the bottom shocker mount so after a phone call to Martin he said he had seen this before and the footrest hanger has probably been bent over the years.

So I slackened the 2 bolts holding the hanger and it cleared so I'm after some advice from any members who might have had the same issues do I try and bend the hanger slightly or put some washers to act as spacers, also what distance in mm should I be looking for between the exhausts and the domed nuts on the shockers ( they are genuine yamaha nuts)
Thanks in advance
