Yes, me an the wife got some kits from ASDA pharmacy, we just asked and we got 1 each. Used 2 of them, quite simple but they don't half make you sneeze and you are supposed to miss your tongue. The wife could not keep hers still😄, but  I told her that was normal😃.

I'm not a big lover of the French, but I do admire their patriotism.  I've always said  keep it in Britain. Why pay other countries to make ships, wind turbines and loads  of other stuff and then to pay our youngster's to keep them on the dole. Beggers believe. Close the Coal pits then buy coal from Russia or China

Brilliant business model - create the problem then sell the solution. Not unlike tattoo removal parlours right next door to the tattoo artists' shops!  :o :D

Is the manufacturing date prior to the pandemic?

I build specialised pharmaceutical and food machinery that gets exported to China.

UK will never compete with the costs against stuff from China - consumers say buy British but are not prepared to pay the extra cost.

Expect there is no plant in the UK that could make the test kits and if there was they would struggle to staff it because no one wants to do the jobs
