Just for a bit of a change and to keep things ticking over I decided to sort out the RS125 Carbs I have .  Turns out I have 4 in various states. Stripped them all down and put the bits through the cleaner. The 34mm carb is missing some bits and so is one of the 28mm ones.  I think I will rebuild the two engines with two of the 28mm carbs I have and sell off the others, as getting the jetting right on the 34 mm one seems to be a black art.  Found a good website for genuine Delortto carb spares  that isn't too expensive https://www.dellorto.co.uk/.

Took the two sets of cylinder Barrels for the Honda + two rs 125 cranks and cylinders to PJM for Paul to assess what needs to be done .  Hopefully not too expensive .

I have got all my paint and clear coat now and rubbed down the Honda bodywork with 600 paper ready for painting. There seems like loads of it.

Got to go to town with the Boss Lady today so won't get a chance to do anymore until tomorrow when I intend to put the new bearings and seals into the blasted cases then do some carb rebuilding.  I bought a new gas bottle for my garage heater so after they cases and carbs are done (probably next week ) I will be painting - Quite nervous about it as you can easily mess it up.

Finally got around to painting the CD175 tins .  It took me all day.  Each piece has had 5 base coats and 4clear coats so the paint is mega thick. No runs in the base coat but plenty in the clear.  I am going to wait a week before starting to sand and polish the panels.  Anyone got any tips for sanding down clear coated parts? Also put all of the bearings into the two Aprilia bottom halves.  I need to collect the rebuilt crankshafts from PJME but I have also given them the Honda barrels to sort and now I am waiting for the first oversize pistons to arrive from a company in Japan . It's nice to see progress on all three bikes.
I hope the parcel from Japan doesn't take too long
