Good Friday New Forest Ride.... 15th April

The 12th Good Friday New forest ride.

Meeting at Rownhams service M27 westbound.

09;00 meet to leave 09;30

Run will include Sammy Millers for a cuppa and a café for lunch etc. I will try and make it a bit different to last years but it will be similar.

Weather permitting as usual.

Great that there is a RD meeting coming up.
In that week I have a vacation. Look nice to ride to UK for also the meeting.
I am new on riding a meeting in UK.

Any recommended for nearby camping or accommodation?

There are a lot of campsites and accommodation in the New Forest itself. However, I don't know prices or how full up they get in the Easter holidays.

The meeting place is Rownhams services on the M27 Westbound and that has a cheap hotel on site. If you are coming the day before let us know and we may be able to arrange a night out. If you are camping in the new Forest again let us know and we may be able to incorporate the ride to collect you.

And.. I have to ride carefully not hitting a crossing horse on the road nearby a camping!

Yes, high mortality rate for the horses, cows etc - they are allowed to roam wherever they like.  Also beware of cattle grids, particularly when wet.
