Recommendations for an engine rebuilder please
« on: July 12, 2023, 08:50:53 AM »
Engine went pop on my RD250 whilst blasting over he Brecon Beacons - holed piston - gutted

I don't have the space to strip and rebuild the engine at the moment - any suggestions/recommendations as to who can?

I live in South Wales (United Kingdom) anywhere in mainland UK fine, but somewhere between South Wales and Kent would be preferable - engine will be drained and out of frame

Thank you in advance for any assistance

Tony at A J’s in Hull, top class work for a fair price. You may have someone already as I see it’s a while back but I just noticed your post😲.

Rebuilt my 250D using as many OEM parts he could lay his hands on , picked up and delivered back to me in Scotland

Or Dave Whattam = Muttsnuts on the forums.
Based just outside York, does lots of 2-stroke engine builds, tuning and dyno work.
