YAS1 at Faversham show/
« on: May 23, 2023, 01:32:21 PM »
I dusted off the YAS1 after 3 or 4 years. Just needed tank clwaning, timing checked and a new fuel tap valve washer.

Started after I blew all the autolube oil out of the crankcases......

Ran faultlessly all the way there and back.

No prizes sadly. A show pony won best motorcycle in show.

My stinger won last year and I wanted to do the double.

Hate the low bars, I have some mid rise ones to go on. Need to extend the cables though......

Retired Electronic Test Engineer (Avionics), Age 64, Owned P50, PC50, SS50z, YAS1, YDS7, RD350B till 1978, then in 2009 a  KH400 A4 - now sold. Have a fully restored YAS1, an AT3, and now a Suzuki T125 Stinger.  A show winner.

Looks really nice martin, it's nice to see that you kept the front number plate.
