X in the Highlands

As you know, X went way up north....... first to Ayr and then to Aviemore, over to Applecross via Inverness and back to Aviemore. Down to Kinross and over to Ayr, then back down south in Neil's van. I think it was 710 miles covered on roads and in scenery you cannot capture in a mere picture, you have to be there and see it for yourself, it was jaw-dropping............
Anyway, pictures are on my phone, just have to get them on my laptop and up here with a few words. Will do asap.

As promised, now I've got my shiny new Toshiba Satellite P50-C-18K laptop, and transferred my phone pictures to it I can now put a few pictures up, just a taster as Del has the full story with all the pictures and words for WellArd.
A fairly decent 720 miles on Project X over the weekend plus another 160 on my Ducati 916 to get to Ayr and back.

Nice pics looks like a good day for Applecross ,Thats a local run for me and you can find snow up there at least 9 months of the year lol .......yip realy can ,but its excellent any time off year  :D

lol yip eaven with the sun up here the last week we still have patches of snow on the top of the ben lol
but the roads are clear thats the best we look for  :D

Now...... the full story in WellArd, but I have to point out that that was 1 month ago so everything is as happened but there may be some stuff not in the correct timeline as I killed a lot of brain cells that weekend................ so if others there go "hang on a minute, that happened the day before", I have a reason for that, I'm old, a lot of stuff happened, I was out at night with a bunch of nutters from Newcastle........mainly that one.........

aye grand pictures Stephen ,   i am even thinking about takin Elsie for a wee spin soon she aint turned a wheel since we got back , she needed a wee rest  ;D , 
must  say i rather enjoyed the wee spin i had on Daisy ,  infact i rather enjoyed the whole weekend , 
making plans for a run to Applecross in August
looking forward to  your wee write up in Wellard  8)

oh and i will say i find ye fine in the morning  chap,,, well at least after 2 coffees ;D,,  whitsaboutye

Those were our coffees you were drinking.............................. :D  :D
The run is something I will remember for a long time and can't wait to go back some time.
I had my 350B out tonight after the rebuild run went tits up 2 weeks ago when I got a puncture 30 miles from home and have had to replace the rear tyre, tube and rim tape. The tube had 9 patches in it, you would be proud of me....................  :D
Its a bit weird having a new TT100 in the back again, dropping into corners is so much easier again and will take a little bit of getting used to not to "over-do it".................  ::)

Told Shadrack it would not start from cold. The problem has been sorted now and it starts first kick. Have no idea what the problem was but its fine now.
