I just used ASDA handy oil, their version of 3in1 oil, runs nice and easy down the cable, dirty old thick tractor oil will need a hydraulic cable oiler to get it in...... You will have to take the cable off at the lever, careful application doesn't require a dirt funnel..... ::)

I heard that farmers use them for all sorts of things...and always wondered how those alpacas get pregnant .....

Maybe he uses a turkey baster to do the cables and the Alpacas..... Never go there for Christmas dinner........ :o  :D
