Greetings from London/Surrey
« on: June 06, 2021, 10:47:11 AM »
Hi all and thanks for letting me join your gang 👍

People know me as Orb, I live in SW London/Surrey and I am addicted to motorcycles and cars....

I am lucky enough to have a nice selection of vehicles to choose from but the latest addition to my fleet is the realisation of a dream I’ve held for about 40 years.

They say never meet your hero’s and I know how dangerous hindsight is so I was worried I’d feel a bit let down by the riding experience but I can happily tell you that isn’t the case and I love the bike already after only a few miles.

It does however need the massive flat spot at 5k tuned out of it so if anyone has any recommendations of a good tuner in my area I’d be grateful for the steer.

I can found most weekends, at some point during the day, at Boxhill after a spirited ride around the Surrey Hills, so if anyone’s heading that way I hope to see you and if there are any 2 stroke focused meetings/ride out in this area be sure to let me know 😜

Cheers everyone and stay safe 👍

Welcome to the club Orb.
If you can go to Kent from you then Richie and his son Shane at RSK2STROKES or Martin Taylor at Taymar Racing will sort your tuning out.I have used them both and they have great knowledge of our bikes. ;)

Welcome the to club Orb, it’s not uncommon for expansions to require some dialling in, particularly if you are also running pod filters, so you just need to use someone who knows these bikes well and you should be fine.
