Rally 2017
« on: September 12, 2016, 11:39:28 AM »
Yes I know it is a long way off yet.  I'm sure Robin said it was booked for the same venue but I can't remember which weekend.  Was it 7-9 July or 14-16 July?

Thanks.  I know it is normally the 2nd weekend in July but as the Friday before is the last day of June I wasn't sure.

That's a good one shorty, what's deep to you is just above normal people's ankles  :) :)

Dave.

Bikers check the weather in the morning to see if they're gonna ride. Motorcyclist only check the weather to see what were gonna wear.

Trying to get the Rally dates off work this year, anyone from my neck of the woods going on their bike or taking their bike in a van? It is a 180 mile ride from Southend to Derby and it would be nice to take the bike (presuming it is running ok by then) if I have company on the way.  Never been further than about 20 miles from home up until now so a bit nervous about a long ride solo up the motorway when I don't know where I am going. Would like to be back before dark Sunday PM. Never rode on a Motorway (did they have them in late 1960's/early 70's) in my previous biking life before cars took over in 1972

If I could not book rally dates off work by giving them 6 months notice and they said NO I would be ringing in very sick that weekend
