Hi Alanski, I enjoyed reading your restoration diary. I am impressed by how quickly you got through the work and the quality you maintained throughout.

Thanks I have been rebuilding bikes for 40 years and was taught do it right and do it once and use the best quality parts paints etc and the results show the quality is in the detail. It used to take me about a month to do one but 3 back ops over the years and 2 heart attacks 18 months ago means about 3 months to do one now. I have just sold the yellow 250f to a chap who spotted at a show on sunday and had exactly the same bike when he was 17 having only done 250 miles running in lol but the white 250e is nearly finished just waiting on nos stanchions to arrive and barrels to come back from rebore as I wasn't happy with the rattly top end on the alleged rebuilt engine  :-X >:( I have also started stripping my white 250f to rebuild so will start another post for that shortly.
