Hi All,

Just like to introduce myself as a recent member to the club.

I live in Lancashire and have been biking since 16 I'm 63 now where did it go.

It all started for me with a Puch Maxi single speed before buying an early Yamaha SS50, the one with SS50 on the side panels. Moved up to an AS1 bought as a write off at 17 took my test then bought a YDS7 which was the actual production bike raced by Charlie Williams in the early seventies which I converted to a road bike but still kept it as close to the racer as possible some road bike. Seen a photograph of the bike with CW on it in Classic Racer.

After the YDS7 bought second hand one of the first H2's to come in the country the bike had flat bars for the UK.

Been married for 30 years and my wife and I have 16 bikes between us ranging from Honda Z125 (hers) to Kawasaki ZRX1200R (mine).

Decided I wanted an RD250 or 350 so found an RD250A on Ebay 4 weeks ago close to me which had been restored with low miles. I've started to go through it and have begun to find areas of the bike which need some detailed attention. So have begun the process which will probably sound familiar to most on the forum.

Looking forward to being active on the forum.
