hi I've just returned to my early years and now have the RD400 as pictured, i also have a LC350 and a DT175 (although technically its my daughters) which I'm rebuilding 'any one local to me i live Nottingham/Derby area, would like any opinions on the bike, it rides very well

There are a few members around the Nottingham area.. a few in Long Eaton, Ilkeston, Bingham,Gedling
There used to be a meet-up at Shardlow, on first thursday of the month, i havent been for a few years, but i am sure its still on.

don't see many in silver
bitd in Essex they where white or yellow
I guess the bike shops just sold what they were given

many thanks, my RD was silver, the one i bought in 1980, this one started life as yellow and black and I'm hoping to have a set painted yellow and black, just a few bits to buy first, wasn't fussed about the color when i was 17!

Yellow is faster, had the same dilemma, like you I had a Silver one,  in 77 , 250 D , loved it . Building a Yellow one now  :D.

The photo ain’t me ….. just proving the point on the Yellow…

not picking fault just info but the side panel decal if for an E  the F has clear centres on the  0   looks beautifal tho enjoy
