If you haven't got a maintenance manual for your bike, then download the RD200C supplement. While not the same m/c as yours its close enough to help you and explains well the principals. Page 7 to 23. Worth a read regardless  ;)

I assume you have compared your new piston with your old for obvious differences if any.
Best of luck.

Hi guys
Update on rebuild kit -
I spoke to the supplier today about my issues with the main piston in the rebuild kit not fitting  and they asked for my stamping / marking on the assembly itself , they came to the conclusion that the part isn’t original and thus this is the issue , so that’s that , I’m out of pocket again but I think I’m going to use the old piston with all the new seals and rebuild it like that , can I have anymore bad luck lol

Looking at that photo, could it be that you need a 12mm piston? Just a guess though.

Hi mate

On the other side it says 14
It’s a 14 mm but there must be a slight variation in the sizes ,

I think that's the master cylinder for older versions of the RD, but I'm not certain

Make sounds familiar.

I checked our own original RD200DX and, whilst it says 14 on top, the make is ASCO.

AISIN is indeed a large, world-wide supplier of vehicle parts. They even have a plant in our little town of Clinton, Tennessee, USA.
