Now in Mid Devon
« on: June 20, 2014, 12:04:56 AM »
Collected project X from Hazey in Newton Abbot and rode it to a "British" bike meet.  They invite the local Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club every year, then emphasize British bike in their blurb.  Previously we've had to park our bikes out of the way at the back.  This year they seem to have given up with that, probably due to being outnumbered by others

X got a lot of attention, especially on arrival and leaving due to the volume of the pipes, the crackle and 2 stroke fumes; hardly any strokers there

X parked up next to a nice BSA triple

General view

Only had a quick blast so far but seems really impressive low down for a bike with spannies on, but runs out of breath a bit higher up.  Cruises well on A roads.  As Paul has commented, starting from cold is a problem though - may just need the knack

lovely finish on the bike

compliments to the builders
I love the smell of 2 stroke in the morning
