Registering an ex Isle of Man RD400c

Hi,

Help needed , can anyone advise please?

Do I need NOVA documentation to obtain an age related plate for a bike which was originally registered in the Isle of Man.
I purchased the bike without any documents in the UK.
I have a dating certificate from Paul Dawkins and I've completed a V55/5.

I brought one in (RD250C) from Jersey Ade1962

About 34 years ago when NOVA didn't exist

iircc Jersey, Guernsey & IOM all had similar registration systems back then but basically it's new to mainland UK so still an import.

My understanding is that the NOVA application should be done before the V55/5

The V55/5 doesn't mention NOVA requirement but they can't go ahead with that side of things unless the NOVA ref exists and you need to send that in with the V55/5

I did my NOVA thing about 5 years ago so I could be wrong but that's the way I remember it
