RD125DX - you learn something new every day!
« on: July 29, 2020, 08:33:36 PM »
Just done a forum search and couldn't find anything on this subject, so here we go!

Either I'm living in some sort of parallel universe  :o, or I've just realised that the Italjet Buccaneer 125 uses a RD125DX engine and airbox, so maybe carbs as well. It also appears to use Yamaha clocks as well.

I've not done any great research, but it looks like there might be a brand harry spankers RD125DX/RD200DX airbox for less than £100 on fleabay - link below.

Everyday's a schoolday!

Or maybe I'll wake up and discover that I imagined this!  :o :o :o

Your right about the Italjet using RD engine, but that box does not look new to me mate.

I certainly agree that it has some shelf marks Tony, although the cover screws don't look chewed.

Nice to have another potential source of spares.
