Are we talking about the crossply square edged death traps in any weather here? Thought they stopped making those in the early 80's!

There's a pair of M38 Michelins on my current 200 resto. They're immaculate. No cracks, splits anywhere. Intend to ride with them on, se what happens ::) ::)
Yes got same on the rolling wheels of my second 200A project, that look great, masses of tread and no cracks. Excellent for 42 years old.
But I won't use them on road. If you do at the very least change the inner tubes unless you have Alloys. Were the M38 made for tubeless  ???
