Installing power dynamo ignition on a rd400

Hi guys
Having never worked with ignition before, do you have Any tips, step by step on how i do this

I have installed the plates in the engine, having set approx 0,5mm distance from ignition to the ( see picture)

The dial gauge, do I set it at 0, as now or?
. What do I do from here..

To set your timing you need to remove the rotor so you can position the start of the ramp with the trigger as per the power dynamics manual (see image attached). First I adjust the piston to 2.3mm BTDC by finding TDC with my dial gauge and then rotating the crankshaft clockwise until I get 2.3mm. You then need to fit the rotor so the end of the ramp aligns to the pick up as shown in the image attached. Then once in position tighten the bolt holding the rotor in place. Once tightened I double check that the timing is set at 2.3mm BTDC. I did my timing when the engine was out of the bike as it is much easier to see but I have checked it since it was in the frame. Hope this helps.

I don’t think these units fire where you (or the instructions) think they fire. I will confirm a bit later as I’m setting mine up again so will check with a flat curve.
For speed add lightness!
