On my yds7 and yr5 no reeds, plain rubber manifold between carbs and back of barrels.
Good to know you use the sealer for a similar purpose so thanks.

I have some Threebond 1184 in the garage which I've previously used to stop fuel tap screws from leaking down the threads.
Does anyone know if this is similar to 1104 which is being suggested and could it also be used to seal crankcases?
Thanks.

Alistair,  Yes, Threebond say their 1104/1104NEO/1184 and 1194 are all interchangeable for the same applications.  Some literature lists the 1184 as replacing the others.  Cheers
