Not had a lot of time recently but I did sort out the gear lever. It was very bent, something the seller failed to mention...but a lot of heat and a big ol' hammer sorted it.



Then a good clean up...



Got me wondering if the foot pegs would go onto an LC footrest so I got some large washers to give it a go



Then got one hell of a surprise...look what it says...



So yes, YZF footpegs will fit an LC footrest. Just need some extension bar for the gear change.

Peter popped round yesterday and quite a bit got done.



Gaskets getting annealed...



Knackered bearings out...



New ones in...



Some bits...he did leave some acid so the shocks will get a soak and see if that rust shifts!



And after some gearbox tweaks the engine is being rebuilt!
