Fitted my new Motobatt yesterday. Its a good fit in the bike and connected up easily with the choice of 4 terminal positions.
Bike started up first time on the electric starter and ticked over nice and smooth, so far so good.

And no need to fill it with acid, let it settle then charge it for 12hrs or whatever. Just take it out the box, pop it in and away you go. I'm very happy with mine and have never had a charging issue, and I do use all my bikes a fair bit. I guess the proof of the pudding is in the eating.

Do these batteries need a special charger for trickle and/or on bench charging! ???
Just want to see if my 20 year old charger is suitable before shelling out for the Motobatt! :-\

That's reassuring then.
Dimensions matched my original knackered Furukawa 12N9-3A-1 from my RD200A. Its been sat on a shelf in my garage for 38 years.
This battery had severe wear mark where rubbing against back of battery cage. Hopefully resolved this by taking length of fuel hose, slitting along length and clipping in place to cage. Well cushioned. Yet to see if rubber battery strap long enough!
Have ordered Mottobatt from M&P who had 10% off, so less than £41 delivered marvelous. :)
Thanks all, much appreciated.

I’ve just taken a punt and ordered a powerline agm 9ah from eBay
Seems like a good price at £24.95 delivered & nearly half the price of a mottobatt so worth a try

The powerline is no good for my RD200A, the terminals are wrong way round. On the RD200A + ive is on right, - ive on left with both terminals at rear.
Is the RD200DX different?
Be careful you don't wire up wrong way. You may have to modify your straps? Hopefully you've checked this out ???

Good on you. :)
The motobatt tho having 4 terminals takes that pain away.
Hope you get good performance, modern batteries are much better than the old leaky ones that needed topping up with water and a vent pipe.
How many battery cages have rotted out over the years!! :'(

Possible problem with motobatt.
However like all of these things you have to keep an eye open
