How to apply for a new v5

Use this form if you have lost your V5 or you have purchased a bike without a V5 and you have the registration number.

Hi Paul,
I have purchased an Northern Ireland plated RD400c, been Gould better to keep this rather than get mainland age related plate? I have no V5 but have original green book. I don't want to send this off as it will be destroyed...
Can I just use the V62 ?

Hi
Sorry mate I have no idea on Northern Irish registrations.
I think its a different system to the UK DVLA system.

The first thing to do is to see if the frame number is recorded at DVLA.
We can do a VIN check and this will tell us.
If we find the reg number then all you need to do is apply for the V5 and pay the £25.
if it is not then you can register it on an age related plate and you will need a dating certificate.

I have a German Import frame with no paperwork or frame number is it possible to get it UK registered. I'm not worried about age related plate and would be happy to go with a Q plate if that was the only option.

I only smile because I have no idea what is going on.
