Lockset items and jobs
« on: March 22, 2010, 09:16:10 AM »
Ok I have got the lockset and need to scrounge some bits and get some plating done.

So who can help?

Re-chrome the petrol cap

Supply an ignition decal

Supply a fuel cap seal

Nickel plate the seat lock helmet loop, or send me one already done

Thanks in advance

I will ask Moist if he has a seat loop.

The fuel cap will need to go to The Ripper with kickstart for chroming unless someone has a decent one.

A quick update.

The ignition that came with the bike is rotten and fit for the bin so I have found another in good condition that I will be using.

The steering lock was missing, again I have found one that the key fits into so it will be adapted to suit

I made mine out of 1/4" stainless.

I might have a go at doing another one if you have no luck with Moist.

Further to what I said above, the existing lock barrel is badly worn so now I"m searching for another. If I can"t find one I will be on the scrounge
