So this morning I went out and the whole mask came off in my hand, glass, the lot. The expert restorer has offered to sort it out, but I'm not taking the bike off the road for another 4 weeks (not including his 2 weeks off in March) so lesson learned, but shoddy (expensive) workmanship for sure.
