Hi Colin.  Yes, that could be true in theory but, some used taps do show very low flow on one outlet, even when perfectly overhauled.  The flow required by a thrashed RD doing 30mpg is at most, 125cc per min / per carb. That is not much and, you would expect a clean tap to feed but, some don't.  I can't prove why but, I still suspect some wierd airlock or flow problem is possible.  Cheers

This is the type of crossover I was thinking of, it should equal out the fuel flow

I've been away myself as my wife has given birth on friday (the 13th  :D) ... Just wonder if any of you have a suggestion for a new petrol tap? I would like to ride my bike and not just stare at it LOL  :D

Because, I am quite unsure that 550ml is going to come out of both ends... But sure it is worth "a try". ;)

Congratulations to you and your wife. Boy or girl ?

When my wife and myself were a lot younger, she was nearly always pregnant. We found out what was causing it. Every time we went to my mum n dads caravan, she got pregnant. Eventually in time  we got a bit more money, we started going abroad and lo and behold, pregnancies stopped  :D
