What is this part please?
« on: November 14, 2017, 04:23:17 PM »
This came in a box of Yamaha NOS parts I just bought, marked as 1A1-1671 on the bag, but I cant identify via that, is it a later 250 exhaust to downpipe gasket, outside diameter of the sleeve is approx. 44mm. Sleeve is a plastic type material enclosed in a steel ring. Any assistance appreciated

Got rid of the enormous pic! ;)

It does indeed look like a wife's cake tin although at 44mm it might be a bun

Defo looks like the metal gasket that goes between the downpipe and muffler.

Looking at the bag in the photo, it seems to have a 1A1 prefix, so it is possibly for a C or D model (39mm)? If it is 44mm it would be for an E/F model.
